Ok recently I was knocked from 9.something billion planets to barely 2 billion. My expansion went back up to my maximum which was 600m per day. Earlier today it was slowly dropping as is expected, I just checked and it had dropped several hundred million per day from what it was a few hours ago. Is this a glitch or something? I've been destroyed before and my expansion never fluctuated so wildly like this.

post your current size, your capped and uncapped CER's
it does take a steep drop to begin with though if i recall.

Raw CER is 585,081,148 planet / day which I was getting about 515m per day earlier in the morning. Then it dropped to 312,193,440 planet / day around two or three EST. One turn it was 500 something and then it just went down. I know it decreases each turn but that's a huge drop.

planet count.
To grasp a bit of the concept,
@ 2 bill planets you are growing at 100%
@ 3 bill planets you are growing at 54% ish
that is how steep it naturally falls, its like a sqr root function, it plateaus out later.

*&%$ are you telling me it drops a couple hundred million when I reach 3b and then decreases a little slower. I thought it fell off at a steady rate, damn it.

It never fell at a steady rate. It's slightly more violent because it only effects you when you hit 3 bill planets, instead of 2, but that doesn't really matter, calculations are still the same.
