as it says i cant log into thegatewars sever but am able to on stargatewars, thought i would just let ya know

Hi,

Here are some steps to take that may be helpful to further your understanding of this issue.

1.) click on the search button
2.) enter "log and in or login" in the keyword field
3.) under search options, set the drop down menu to bugs, or widen your search by not changing it to anything
4.) click search
5.) scroll through results to see what it came up with
6.) edit/modify the search parameters to and search again if your results weren't helpful(ie. edit the keywords, do a more general search if you limited it to the bug fourm)

That way you'll be able to see if someone else has the same problem that you do, or if it's the first time this issue is being reported. It will incerase your support network because you'll know of people who had similar problems and they might have some tips or tricks to help you out with it.

y thank u never thought of that before, i have been playing this for a long time so yes i do know what to do, and as one of the players is not online that speaks to admin all the time i posted here, and i know it hasn't been posted because it would b at the top as this has only just started happening in the last 30mins, but maybe that info u put would b helpfull to some newbe but not me thanks anyway, and as i have already put i can log in on the stargatewars sever, so i dont need tricks or any tips of how to get around things

came after the bank pin I guess. when I banked earlier today it was all fine with no pins...

yuppers...same, i entered all the info and it just comes back to the hompage..no error message

Same problem here, cant login in again !!!!!

This time, no error mssage, just refreshes the homepage.

Anyone have any ideas to fix this one ?

I had to switch to the Firfox browser because of the cookies login problems on IE5. The Firefox browser just got an update, could this be the cause ?

sorry, too lazy/not worth it enough for me to register a new forum account.

I have the same problem. I am a bit worried our accounts were somehow lost, because after about ten tries, I put in a "forgot your password" request, but have not recieved a reply. Also, I tried putting in "duh", "fuh" and "luh" in, (as username, email address, and password respectively). It had the same result as when I attempted to log in to my account.

This is definitely some sort of server problem.

BTW, I did do a search, it took me here.

I use IE, which before today worked, and don't think it was updated recently.

(OOOO....as long as I'm posting anonymously I'll use this opportunity to say that Firefox sux! Go ahead and flame the guest account.)

His "grand advice" was to do a search, which was the first thing I did. There aren't any other relevant topics.

Well, though there seem to be a bunch of other bugs that are showing up today, and those problems might be related to this one, but generally there's no old thread, so we started a new one.

Is it that I'm not registered? Nope...don't know what I've been doing for the past few months if I haven't registered by now.

Is it that my account got suspended? Nope...haven't done anything illegal, and would have gotten a notification besides.

Is it that I'm putting in the wrong pw? Nope...unless I've typoed my password ten times in a row and all the other posters here have.

Well, FAQs don't help me.


Seriously, if you don't have the same problem and aren't going to help, don't reply.

Having the same here, I ve been using firefox till today and I didnt update yet so I guess it isnt the new update.

So yeah, at least I'm satisfied that I'm not the only one not able to login.
