Similarly, I believe that people in general are inherently flawed. Deep down, we are programmed to hurt one another; either physically or emotionally. People are naturally selfish and greedy; governed more by bestial urges than common sense or ethics. Society is a terrible thing, too. The more supposedly civilized we become, the more immorality and decadence become the main staple of our daily diet.
Before Lost concluded, my main flippant excuse for not killing myself was that I wanted to know how it ended. I will get back to you with a new one when I find it.

Another Messi masterclass. It actually astonishes me that's still only 24 too.

Pele was good, but the comparison is wrong to make. The 900 goals he scored were hardly at the same level as what Messi is at now.

In the modern day the only really comparable player is Ronaldo.

Yes, the La Ligua rivals. CR7 has a crazy 1+ goal/match average...

And then there is the 'occasional' Ibrahimovic and Mr. Boateng.. I have to say.. they occasionally reach an excellent level. Although, it is not a specific thing.General Riviera wrote:In the modern day the only really comparable player is Ronaldo.

Re: Champions League 2011/2012
I think Ibrahimovic is a bit overrated to be honest. Sure, he's a good out and and out forward but to be honest he reminds me of Berbatov - shows moments of class then does nothing for ages. As for Boateng, he's not fit to clean Messi's boots.
