Having been auto-banned 3 times since Jan 1st,
I take the appearance of even minor bugs more seriously now.

So when I saw that I had -1 messages in my inbox on Main,

you could see how I might totally flip out and hurry to send myself an ingame message...

Now my inbox says I have zero messages. But at least it is better than a negative number.

autobanned again?

think its been 15 for me since jan LOL

nope... or I would have put it there...

and I logged in today and my message count was fixed.

still, perhaps negative numbers should be further investigated,

or insignificant ones deemed well... insignificant.

I saw a noob a while back who had a mere -23,247 naq...

naturally, i sent him 50,000 naq,
because if one were going to consciously cheat...

one would have a mere -23,247 attack turns.

The negative messages issue seemed to happen to me a lot before I retired. It seemed to happen when I cleared my inbox completely. Was rather amusing for all of about three seconds, then after a few page changes it would go away.

for me it was there for a while... several minutes...

didn't trust the coding enough to risk getting auto-banned on the next turn change.

i don't recall it fixing on the TC either...
As I recall, it was still zero messages, (instead of 1 message),
having sent myself a test message that was sitting in my inbox.


I didn't notice a correct message count until the next day...

and I remember being genuinely surprised that it had fixed itself...
