Scenester, I dont think we can upgrade the unit production with levels though.
I think the miners merely outputs more resources with the miner upgrades.

Heheh nah I didnt meant for miners but for the other troops.
I mean I only need 1cov, 1anti cov 1 offense and 1 defence unit, so why spend naq on generating more units if you can only use those units as miners.
In fact getting the highest UP means investing tons of money resulting in one getting way lower defene then the rest. So all the extra naq one would generate would fall into the hands of those who just spend it all on offense and other stats.
This era doesn't seem very balanced but it has potential :D

interesting thoughts on the different ways this era could play out... I see what you're saying regarding others that are just pumping their stats being able to farm the others that work their UP, that might work for a while, but i think UP will still play an important part....

When the time comes that someone with a large army size can earn 10x the average farm hit, they will only need to be able to bank a few turns worth of income and then bolster their own defenses to ward off the stat builders... this should increase exponentially.

Nope. UP is absolutely useless this era buddy! :)

That may be so... but absolutely might be a bit of an overstatement... sure UP won't play NEARLY as much of an important role as it usually does but it will still be something to work on (maybe only worth putting 30% of the usual amount one would spend on it)

But, correct me if i'm wrong, there is a limit on the AMPed% you can increase, (10K%??) whats that, 1,500,000,000 NAQ per Unit to 10K%... hmm... when in era's gone you start making 10's if not 100's of Billions of NAQ per turn there is no reason that you can't be training 10-100's of "Totally AMPed" units with the best weapons (or maxed spys/miners/anti...) per turn... and on top of that if you can keep your income... it goes without saying...

Also... think that if no one does increase their UP, the natural progression in army size of the farms will be minimal... therefore this era will suck BALLZ....

I personally will be continuing to increase my UP...how far i'll go remains to be seen.
