Best Sci Fi I have seen in long long time , none of the Hollywood glitzy high budget stuff but a great story, great acting, and what money they had to spend on special effects was wisely spent to get the most out of it.

OK yes it's in German and subtitles for non-German speakers are annoying, but it's worth it and for me thats saying a lot. There are very few foreign language films I will tolerate subtitles for, this is now on that short list... in fact it makes me wish I paid more attention to German lessons in school lol

If you like space sci fi, Watch this :D

Do NOT read the spoiler if you intend to watch it
Earth dying, people moving into space and building colonies etc etc sounds like usual stuff.......... Dr signs up on a Cargo ship supposedly delivering building materials to a space station, eco terrorists against space colonisation make a new threat and a Security officer is also assigned to the Cargo ship......... the ship is old and tatty, bit worn out giving a great atmosphere when things go bump in the night and the crew have to be woken to investigate and some are killed.......... then the great twist ( which I got about 30 mins and about 20 before the reveal lol ), there are no colonies, the colonies failed and the cargo is people on their way to be plugged into a Matrix style VR system on a space station. The Terrorist become the goodies fighting against the corporation thats tricking everyone............... all done really well :-D
Seems to me there have been a lot of great movies coming out of Europe in the past few years, I just wish they would make them in bloody English. I mean really what are these producers thinking, do they not want to make money, if these great movies were in English they would be well known and making a fortune worldwide, you can guarantee Hollywood will do cheesy remakes but who wants that, all flash with the same bratpack actors over and over, I love the fact these movies have unknown actors, fresh faces and non-cliche ways of spinning the story........... ARRGGGHH MAKE THEM IN ENGLISH !!!! :smt043

I watched the English audio version of this movie, and it bored me to tears. Maybe I was mistaken and picked the wrong version but..it was terrible voice acting.

Good plot, but poorly executed. There was no ambient noise, or sound so it was filled with lots of dead air, and things of that nature.

Overall though I would give it a 6ish out of 10 from my standpoint.

Thats the problem with dubbing, you lose the emotion, the fear, passion and confusion the original actors put across in the voices.

I do agree it needed music, think what something like Sunshine would have been without the music giving it that atmosphere. But again, it low budget and good soundtracks are expensive, better to have none that the typical rubbish low budget movies usually have.

I don't know. I think I would rather have a low budget music in the movie than nothing. Dead air is bad.
