I spotted this also. That was a really bad minute for Kikaz right there. Oh wait, he did what? He got how much? Oh, might as well let him have this bit too...and this *whistles* and this.

I've just read through this page and i'm wondering about something. I just started playing about a week after the era went live and i was ranked (through hard slog no nefarious activities) somewhere around 12th then some mad family stuff came up and i had to think quick so i did USS for two reasons:
1. I'm really enjoying the era and wanted to pay for it
and
2. Everyone (non feeder/feeder/non supporter/supporter alike) had a head start on me anyhow

So, am i going to be massed for supporting? It is not that i mind so much, i probably would still have done it anyways but (if indeed it is to be so) i can't help feeling a little cheated.

Afterall, i'm still ranked basically where i was before donating and now i have a UP that averages the rest of the active game community meaning that i have, at least, a fighting chance of keeping up in the endgame.

People in this game mass and sab because its a war game, and the only fun one can have really.
Massing donaters and the fed is just another excuse to mass.
People are going to get massed and sabbed, sometimes for a made-up reason or no reason at all.
If you were inactive for a long time I doubt your even worth massing, so no...

Ghosty - that's why I have been selling naq all era long - people actually get, that way, the naq worth of the 50$ that makes a difference, opposed to how much naq you get right now via USS which is literally nothing.

I mean, personally i would not profit out of the game but it is your prerogative to do so if you wish; i mean, there is currently no system (or probably ever will be) in place to stop what you are doing. No (even slightly ambiguous) rule whatsoever to hit you with and so it becomes a moral issue and i have no wish to discuss mine or anyone else's morals as, being a philosopher of quite some merit, i find it folly to do so.

I guess what i'm trying to say here is that, in a situation between feeding vs. not i would stand by the nots but, if i found the nots to be massing people because they'd donated to the game, that opinion of the nots would swiftly change.

In all seriousness though Hippy, there's no way to stop it other than vigilantes ingame. There's no rules that says one account in Australia (for sake of argument) can farm all night and then remove the naq from the bank and let someone attack it from at a predefined time from, say, (to further ambiguate the argument) Jupiter.

Everything that the administration can do to stop feeding has been done i think?

Actually there would be a way to stop it, if admin actually cared. But seeing how he only steps in when someone is fed so much that they become untouchable and he often steps in waaay to late (for instance previous era when he removed miners from an account, its name eludes me right now, like 2 days before the era reset when miners had no importance for the final rankinganymore seeing how one couldn't untrain them so what he did, essentially, is nothing), no such way is going to be applied to the game. Also until one can give resources on main to someone for exchange for an USS on Quantum (approved by admin, after several talks with him to make it a bannable offence, might I add) which is essentially a cross-server trade (forbidden in the rules), the only difference is that while the other party still gets resources on Quantum via USS, admin gets his money, I see no reason why not to do what I do and I see no reason why I should be punished for doing it. Besides one can easily distinguish between feeding and selling for $ in most cases.

Feeding -or using one account solely to power another - is against the rules. There are ingame stoppers -such as limiting maximum gain per attack to a days worth of income, more or less. But the practise of using one or more accounts solely to feed one main account is against the rules. Account caught abusing this will be banned.[/spoiler2]

only got a minute so didnt read everything but quick answer to question about supporting, i said in previous thread sumwhere theres nothing wrong with supporting game and this is not a reason to be massed, it keeps the server goin. p2p trade and feeding is tho and we will **Filtered** **Filtered** up, and even if they dnt build theyll never see more than 1 gnr a turn unless ppt'd
it gives a bit 2 much of a advantage, ingame ss gives a advantage yea but a more even 1 and its limited 2 so many a round for a reason, balence, feeding p2p is not limited and just causes inbalance, especially when those who support do it 2, game like these should b played by all not owned by sum1 who buys 500q naq an buys there way 2 the top, there no difference in it except [mabey] some1 get a bit of cash so yep p2p and feeds get smashed up for years 2 come. i ain goin nowhere.
anyway the whole p2p trade massings [like what jack does] came around becos when u look at it it also opens doors to actual feeding, so sry 2 say but if if we got2 use the tactic to mass p2p aswell in order 2 wipe feeds out im not going 2 loose any sleep bou it

There are rules,
* One account may not exist to solely 'feed' a main account.
* Selling naq for $ is allowed.

Thats it, and nothing of that will change.
We've tried to get it changed or a mod to even look at cases of people who find loopholes, nothing changes.
So please just give a rest, would save you a whole lot of time debating and what not.
Because winning here in the Q forums...is like being a loser... even if you win, you still lose because nothing happens.

If you don't want to talk about it why keep coming here to reply? It is a riddle and thanks to coming here to talk about it i've found someone who feels very similarly to the way i feel about it, has illuminated me on certain finer points like "where the rules are not in the rules" *chuckles* and has given me an insight to this collateral type damage.

So, despite you not liking this thread very much, my being here has been quite fulfilling. One ghost's gold is another man's garbage, eh?
