Ascending?

Ascending takes your base race, one of the four you first selected and improves it. So instead of say 25% to attack, you know have 25% to each stat and your weapons are more powerful. Each ascension also improves the chance that you get a "blessing", which doubles your attack or defense.
In general ascending takes time, but you must in order to stay competitive.
