hey everyone,

im new to the game and wonderin what a commander actually does?
is it just for protection and to be looked after by?
im only new and kinda need a tutor

right now in the game the commander is more just for show.

They usually offer support and guidance, but you can get that from most people in the game if you ask the right ones.
Also, they get additional UP for having officers, while you get a slice of their naquadah income for being their officer

oh cool!!!! can i join as your officer? i dont want the naqadah just some adive

but the same questions for alliances, anyone out there want to teach me the ropes?
