Off topic - 33 out of 50 states support the Death Penalty, and I grew up in one where it was not active

Locking someone up for breaking the law is not a 2 wrongs dont make a right situation.

We are talking an eye for an eye.

In the UK we will put someone in prison for murder as punishment, putting them in prison is not a wrong. They sacrificed their own freedom by playing god with someones life.

I don't understand? they are both "wrongs" isn't "taking away someones life" and putting someone in prison for 300 years the same thing? is that not "taking away there life", or do you mean physically?

in which case we can use the same argument they do in rape cases

Isn't forcing someone to have intercourse with you and all the side affects that has "taking away Someones Life"

yet we put them in prison, again let me repeat, isn't putting osoene in solitary confinement (a black box) for 24 hours, for years... Isn't that "taking away someones life"

I am truly glad I was able to do this for those who have lost things they worked hard for, to a man, or a child who just slithered his way in and prayed on the one thing people as a whole should keep... Trust... Trust and I'm giving it back to those who were ripped off (at least a little bit)

So in your opinion we should let criminals go? Or just commit the same crime too them. You talk in circles
