For all the traders out there, what type of rules if you where in a trading alliance would you like to see? And everyone that deals with traders what type of rules would you like to see?

Personally I always thought it would be cool if there was a trade alliance setup somewhat like F.T.R. where everyone has good posted background so people know they are getting a grade A and trustworthy experience.
A forum that is most just like a giant market, with traders that give preference to regular traders.
The reason I think the big market style forum would be cool is because people can go there to trade and you would have full control over bans. No scammers, no spammers, low ballers etc. Keep track of own blacklist and generally promote your trades with the ease of access and such.
IMO you could do much like Roket used to do with accounts and use your well oiled machine to help sell accounts or service for just a little bit off the top.
Tis a place where I would go anyway.

FTR was a political clique, riddled with favouritism and other malfeasance.
It was a ridiculous way of implementing an otherwise good idea, and has done no good for the game whatsoever.
Separating the Market from this forum is insane. Of course, each alliance is free to set up their own markets.. but this market will always exist.

Eliminate the transferring of accounts and resources out side of the game
Keep the market there so you can still trade resources
take it out of the forums the "for currency" and make it against the rules (should be easy enough to police)
limit the amount of resources that are allowed to be bought each week through the black market

I more just wanted to adopt he ideas from it rather than the actual practice

And ya would be silly to split the market but its really the only part of the forum i like so it would be what I would like to see

ingame blackmarket is limited
and doing what basically Runescape did where everything was limited to a plus minus max IE when you trade UU the min you can trade 1 mill for would be 500 bil max 800 bil theres still room for profit but end of the day we are too far gone to enplace that plus you could still do it by just letting the buyer hitting you for it (tis like the scripting issue it's there but you can't prove it )
a player made economy degenerated the game because with supply demand it favours the side with the least hence why ATs go up in value but selling for $ decreases
for instance when ATs first started off it was like 50 bil to the K and at it's peak before the MTs and christmas gift flooding it was 1.2 trill because demand was higher than supply
whereas $ to the Trill first was $100 per trill and now is $0.11 because supply is far greater than demand
there were some trading alliances but the thing is they basically become farms to the rest and easy ME targets

Impossible to police, admin tried this one already, and he removed it from the forums, and did not allow anyone to use the forums for $$ trades, within 30 mins of him doing so, there was a new forums online that allowed just that, ( i know this because i know the person that made it ) and people used it instead,
Its impossible to track ingame, because how do you tell the difference between a friend sending you trillions of naq or a seller sending you trillions of naq, fact is $$ trades are not very much part of the game, if admin really wanted to make a dent in that market he would make his prices cheaper, after all admin can make unlimited resources players have to build theres up, ( with this he would need to put heavy restrictions on his ingame market etc )

This is where the whole limited price thing would have to come in as was suggested earlier. 1 mil uu can only be sold between 400 and 800bil naq that way $$$ trades would be made much more difficult but still difficult to police.

If admin says it's cheating would all these self proclaimed followers of J follow the rules? I'd assume so... so it wouldn't be hard to find the black listed Markets and J can watch single players transactions if they do it often enough bam... Just saying Cheating is Cheating so if Admin took it away *which he should anyways* it would help the game to balance out *after all it is whats killing the game why not let it balance out?*

I'd like to see an end to pompous, pointless and pretentious attempts by players to self-regulate, inevitably to no effect, a trade system over which they remain largely powerless.
Conversly, I'd like to see a return to good old common sense and the 'caveat emptor' principle.
