Question about "Copy and Paste"

I'm editing my Personal Log and I was wondering if there is a way to copy part of a sentence and then another part in the same copy, or does it always have to be consecutive words?

Interesting!
I have just tried using the method i would use for multiple (but non consecutive) file selection (using ctl + select) and that does not work.

Might be able to add it to your operating system but it seems fairly complex for something people would use so rarely, I think I've tried it in word before and even that doesn't have functionality for it if memory serves.
It goes from selecting a string from start position to end position (or count depending on implementation) to selecting an array of strings for each case where string[i].end != string[i+1].begin
Seems a tedious waste of resources in my opinion.
Babble over: No you can't do it
PS: My brain is broken
