ok sorry on the image and turnchange issue....both fixed....(I had to run just after era started on a minor emergency, and did not validate the image...or turnchange...)
On the plus side, those not able to login did not lose anything as with turnchange not giving income or turns, the world waited for you ;)

Some more coming today hopefully to address feeding.

more coming in general :)

Heheh....i was thinking you might have "purposefully staggered the functionality of the era in order to allow us to adapt".

So, just a fumble then?

*chuckles*

Since I don't know whether or not you monitor the new era thread - there's some things in there regarding USS and FSS bonuses to really allow for the whole 'everyone for themselves' thing.

When I train entertainers my generic/untrained population doesn't decrease.

At first I had:

Generic Spider 1,889
Entertainers 500
Total Fighting Force 2,157

(500+1889>2157 , and that doesn't even include my attack/defense/miners etc)

Then after training 100 more entertainers I get this:

Generic Spider 1,889
Entertainers 600
Total Fighting Force 2,157

My Percent General Population is at 112.08% too.

I noticed this but i thought that it was due to entertainers not being counted in your population. From the way you describe it, though, i now doubt myself.

ok - it appears entertainers did in fact appear out of nothingness --ie no units were used to train them. Obviously a leftover from the ghost era....

Everyone got 100 entertainers. Not 100 more - just 100...since the cost to get them to this point is zero, nobody lost anything :)

entertainers now take out of general population, although count as 2x a normal untrained/general....
(so at max you can have 200% of your citizens in the general population if you had only entertainers...)

phew. nice catch :)

and ps i do read hte threads, and boy are there a lot of words in some of those posts ;) ... will read through all (even the long ones) later :) --they are seen, and will be read ;)

I just lost about 1400 entertainers for no particular reason. My realm is about to go into meltdown now and there's pretty much nothing i can do about it.

I bought like 75k entertainers as I didn't really read the updates much so I thought they were kind of like mercs - one buys them in a realm. That's quite a lot of naq and units..So can I get the naq back?

Here's the screenshot I have as I was going to post that my Happiness Rating doesn't really increase, to prove it:

That "fix" has really **Filtered** screwed me over.

Massing is going to be interesting if you are trying to mass a realm that is super super jolly :D

...especially if they have huge defense....

Thanks to this massive error and subsequent small minded "fix" i'm a very very long way off being happy. Not only that but to further rub my nose in it, if i'd had the units i should have had thanks to the other stupid mistake, i would have had more than enough in my realm to cover what was taken from me.

Lost nothing? **Filtered** that.

1400 x 4000n = nothing
Can't farm, can't spy, can't do anything but untrain miners (cost more n) and train entertainers (cost more n)

Mistakes are to be expected but your "fix" J, is very very poor. Sorry.
