That Parents Should Spank Their Children!

I don't know how many of you watch wild life programs, but i own many and have watched literally 100's of them. many of those about mammals show how mammals in nature actually smack their offspring or bite them when the parents need the youngster to pay attention and learn something. i've seen programs show whales of all kinds actually raise their flippers and smack the youngsters or the big cats bite their young...but we as mammals who have children that run out of control so easily are not allowed...worse than not allowed...jailed for just encouraging the use of discipline. i have 3 boys as some of you know and i have not had to smack them in years because i smacked them when they were much younger. as a result when i speak they pay attention because they know i mean it.


What are your thoughts on the use of of smacking as a means of discipline, and the article above?

I couldn't be bothered with the article above but i don't think there is anything wrong with giving your kid a smack on the bum when they're naughty. Obviously not enough to hurt/mark them but to let them know that it's wrong when talking doesn't get the message across.

I got some bloody good hidings when i was a kid and i think i'm better for it.

Left wing/liberal influence over politics, most parties are running after liberals' theories and try to receive metaphorical certificate of neo-conformism following! It's a race to who will be the most progressive/neo conformist. Don't ask me why they do that, it's probably linked with the self-flagellation & repentance theories in front of our histories, once again led by the ambassadors of the unique-way-of-thinking-allowed a.k.a the liberals.
That's the theoretical speech I'd have in general about rejection of spanking.

That said, in this case, maybe spanking that young babies, with objects, is probably not the best thing to do to teach them things.

keep in mind that this Pastor is not going to jail for smacking but encouraging parents to use smacking in cases where a more strict form of discipline is required because the child is not listening.

With my kids they got at least 3 verbal warnings to stop what they were doing or to behave themselves. each time they were told "carry on like that and you will get a smack". believe me, when they got to 5/6 they knew i meant it and no smack would be required, the threat of a wallop was enough to make them fall in line.
