Interesting thing in 'The Powers That Be' (Stargate SG-1).
- Prior infects village and somesuch.
- Daniel Jackson and Prior have a discussion on the philosophy of 'godhood' (and the Ori's claim to it).
- Prior heals village; and tells Daniel Jackson "Tell others what you have seen today".
Epic sentence. 'Others', Altera.. Danny being a former Alteran and all.
Tell others what you have seen today.

interesting point...
"Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. In the name of the gods, Browsers shall be changed to carry the internet out amongst the peoples and we will spread Firefox to all the unbelievers. The power of the Firefox will be felt far and wide and the wicked users of IE shall be converted to use the true browsers."

Re: Tell others what you have seen today.
It is contextually sound (I provided little evidence), given that the Ori and Altera were somewhat in disagreement on basic principles, the same point Danny and the Prior were discussing. It made the whole episode seem more like true SG.Zeratul wrote:interesting point...

Re: Tell others what you have seen today.
It's a nice story derived from the bible where at the end of miracles performed those that bore witness were not charged to go and convince others...just go and tell, (leave it to each individual to believe it or not). although the villages in the bible were not stricken by the miracle worker.

the ori are essentially a strike at all medieval-and-earlier religions with mass conversion on the agenda...
