Negative Naq - Potential abuse

EDIT: As per thread

Dark Lord Tacoma

I have to ask, there have been several accounts in Perg that sit at low ranks that constantly have negative naq.

Not just the random amount that occurs upon training, but in amounts similar to -2,806 Naquadah.

I have been watching one in particular for three days, and it hasn't generated a positive naq amount yet, so I'm curious as to possible causes (I don't want to accuse of scripting/hack until I get some info).

Seems dodgy to me...without being rank 0 or ostracized, I would have a guess that a script is in play. What is the ID, please may you PM me or post here. I would like to watch their naq over turn changes, if I may. Negative naq can occur during dualing usually, when a player hits you as you bank or whilst training.

Too quick for a farm/autobank script and no other changes 2 mins before and after the turn change.

GameTime: Jun07 - 09:05.01 - Treasury: -2,867 Naquadah
GameTime: Jun07 - 09:05.07 - Treasury: -2,928 Naquadah

So, with this, one can presume that there is a negative turn change income. How? I'm not sure.

Anybody else come across this?

That's one for you Vayne.

Regardless of that point, if the income planet was reduced that wouldn't explain a negative outcome? Surely? Unless of course the coding wasn't right?

Income planets have been reduced now? Is that confirmed?

Negative outcome could be explained if the rather smallish income planet would suddenly produce a negative amount. (if so, prolly something to do with the 'rounding' of numbers after reducing)
Dunno if that's actually possible, but should be easy for admin to to check.

Any indication how long this has been occurring ?

Income planets are the one thing that has been changed recently, not just with the need miners cap.

Problem with certain incomes & Recent changes to income things ..

not sure for this one but there was another (over a week ago) that went for a few days like this before the inc planet tweek before returning to positve naq. And as to vayne, you'll have to wait untill he get up before he can see if inc planets are involved unless I can find another who is there to have a little look.

Has zero income planets.

He has only ever maintained UP planets.

I say this deserves a look from Admin.

Could a mod possibly move this to the right section please? Vayne, if you could edit the title and the description with the ID and then PM a moderator/admin for it's move! :smt047
