Jacks banning again of Nitro!!

1. I have been banned again
2. I believe this to be unfair
3. This happened just after I massed him and right after I sabbed him
4. This bug may not even be a bug but how the ships are supposed to act, Is Jack a tester??
5. Not been told how long the ban is for!
I just wanted to ask the community wether you guys and gals believe this to be fair!
So is it fair or is this just jack trying to gain some advatage over me again?

You are banned for 3 days as it's your third ban.
Do you deny there was a bug which you used to your advantage when massing me?
It is a bug because your strike on MS alone was bigger in attack logs and did more damage than your total MS strength was which you can see in Command Center.
Why did it happen after you massed me? Because that's when I went checking to see what exactly happened and I immediately noticed huge strike increases in consecutive attacks which shouldn't be as big as they were. I then saw that what I thought was a bug of cosmetic nature (which I have reported to admin in a message a day before) was actually a lot more severe.

your ship did more defence than it was supposed to, please keep the mechanics in the game cop section this post area is wether people think its fair or not.
also the 2nd ban was trumpt up also. there was no proof and admin didnt and couldnt provide you any either, which I may also state lasted for 3 days also.

Lol you deny that there was a bug, yet you quote Hippy who says there is a bug. Also I did try to contact Hippy via msn but he hasn't responded.

that was from a pm after the banning. I Deny everything as there was no indication to me that there was a bug at all.. and at the momment neither do you apart from some misrepresentation of the figures

Also I said for you to ask hippy before making any decision but you didnt take that in either.

He is entitled to his own opinion, I believe differently. And I specifically remember admin saying that if we see something wrong, we do not have to wait for opinion of other GCs but can act, provided there is evidence. I've shown evidence of you using this to your advantage. It was a bug which was also posted in the Bugs section. Funny how you say it's not a bug that only your strike does more damage in attack logs than the total MS power you have and can see in command center.
Your MS added more strike to the ground troops than your actual strike on MS was. Another bug. As far as I know, by definition, abusing bugs means to use them to your advantage. Since it was a bug and since you used it to your advantage - you are, by definition, abusing bug which is a bannable offence.

Jack it was posted while I was massing you I believe and one other thing, I only came onto the forums to post my victory over you. I dont live on the forums.
This argument should be kept to the cops section as this is a post for other members of the community to give their views and not for you to continue from the gamecop section.
So please respect my post area and dont post here anymore regarding this.

As hippy said..Nitro did not benefit from this MS bug.. Your MS was also 5x bigger!
Jack you have gone the wrong with about this, and abusing your powers because you were massed. You should be removed from being a game cop.

Nitro did benefit from this (hippy never said that he didn't), as he had the stronger mothership.
Take this as an example (these are made up numbers, but the key factor is that Nitro's MS is stronger than Jack's MS):
Jack's MS power: 1,000 billion
Nitro's MS power: 5,000 billion
Also assume that this power is split evenly between shields and weapons.

Yes but even with Nitro and Jack still having the MS x5 smaller the same occurs just that its not x5 as big..
Anyone with a MS cannot choose to abuse this bug so Nitro has been unfairly banned by Jack. Obviously Jack cannot distinguish the difference between banning someone on a personal level or because someone was obviously cheating.
But all in all, Nitro has been banned unfairly. If this is the case, all players with a MS should be banned for the extra damage on other players...
You cannot choose to use this bug or not so its no ones fault in the end and not abusing a bug.

Actually you can choose not to abuse it. How? Simply - you don't relay on the increased MS power, like Nitro did. If he hadn't relied on that he wouldn't have abused the bug and I'd gladly say good job.

This thread should be locked. Admin has resolved the issue.
For anyone who missed what admin said: game cops are now only to give bannings in response to feedings related incidents. Bug abuse etc is not under our jurisdiction.
Also, we game cops will no longer ban if the incident directly involves our own account. If such a situation occurs it will be left up to the two non-involved game cops.
I hope everyone can understand that this is early days for game cops and that some incidents have to occur before we can perfect our jobs. On the other hand, our presence will ultimately eliminate feeding for all eras hence forth and so I hope no one will jump to being anti-game cop too quickly without giving us all a chance.
