Once again I will bring this up.

On most forums when you quote someone you only quote what that person said, not the past 30 quotes as well.

-It looks messy - and is genuinly annoying

Why not remove the multi-quote options? If you need to make more then one quotes you can. But most people are just quoting the post they click 'quote' no need to save up all these quotes in one post.

Argument goes both ways. If you do not want to include the previous quotes (which are in the post you are quoting) just remove them. ;)

This^

Also I've never been on a forum where you just quote what a person said, and the quote doesn't include any previous quotes their post contained. Not sure how that would even work. Either way I think most people prefer to have it remain as is, or at least don't care about it.

Indeed. The quote nesting limit is ten.

That limit can technically be changed, so if many feel it should be lowered, then that can be arranged. However, it won't be lowered to one. Maybe something like five or three, but not one.

should be lowered to 3 its not messy but sore on the eyes if you think about people with sensitive eyes for various reasons the things on top each other as u scroll down make ones eyes go wonky

we'd have to say that it has been a problem a few times, but not a big problem...

I'd say if that argument's seen as good ban signatures and colors as well bcz of epileptics. Text bcz of dyslexics and sugar bcz of diabetics.

Agreed, it's not a "problem" and doesn't stop you being able to read it...however, it looks terrible and could definately be improved. No harm in making it look better is there?

That would require some heavy modification of the forum system, and you know how easily that is done...

Not heavy but it'd require modifying beyond what forum admins can do.

Who has access then?

If it's easy, why can't DD instruct how it is to be done?
