Write us a history?

There's much happend in the years since jason launched our world known by law as gatewars (but will forvever be stargatewars to me)
There's many players who remember much of the game, the largest of battles, the smallest of pacts.
So i'm asking nicely, can any of our elders join together to pass on the history of the game in full to those to young to remember it?

The problem is, whilst many people remember the history, they all remember a different version of it, often filled with bias and half-truth's rather than pure fact. When I write any SGW history post, I try very hard to stick to generally accepted facts, however even my posts are often contested by those who remember events differently. This is especially true if the talk is of the days I was not here to witness personally, where I only have the words of certain individuals and their recollections of events to go on. It's almost chinese whispers, biased opinions passed down from generation to generation as fact until the tales have as little truth as a modern day religious guide book.
Getting everyone to agree on every fact, and get a truly accurate, bias free history, is an almost impossible task. Each alliance would have to write their own history, and then an independent body cross-reference them with past threads here, and probably conduct interviews with a cross-section of players from that era to determine what really happened. It does not mean it should not be attempted, but it's a monumental amount of work. I am happy to answer questions if someone does want to take it on, but do not have the time needed to do so myself.

right okay...............well what about, the elders write their idea of the history of SGW, once we have a few, we compare the history's, check what is the same, and what is drastically different, we discuss.
No history is 100% acurate
just gotta do the best with what we can get

Get JT, EtL, Robe, Tekki, Mathlord, Norbe and Deni & myself in one room and if we agree on some event that it's probably how it happened. That's the best possible outcome though, there will probably be mostly yelling & throwing objects at one another and a few fatalities in that room.
Worst case scenario: Armageddon.

There is so much history in the Game that it would be hard to write it all down. I remember stuff from Pre-Ga days, not that well, but I remember it.

I think Svarun had a run on it, I don't remember how the forum was called, but I among others posted some infos/links for this project.
Will try to find out the link.
