High above a large planet a severely damaged hatak class mother shop is locked in orbit. Large pieces of the vessels infrastructure are missing, the ship amidst a sea of debris. Pieces blasted from the exterior of this hatak. However, to those who might pay closer attention this is no ordinary Goa'uld craft. It sport's what remains of an exoskeletal structure consisting of a material foreign to this type of craft. This material largely resembles the blocks used to create the synthetic race of machines known as the Replicators. Despite the exterior's apparent disrepair, the interior of the mother ship remains comparatively undamaged. Much like the outside however, the inside of this hatak sports technology not common to these ships. In fact, this technology is not common any where in the known universe. It's origins laying lost in the past. Only those who have tasted immortality, those who have ascended to a higher plane of existence and unlocked the secrets of time and space have rediscovered this advanced technology. - Receiving a signal from an unknown source the ships main interface powers up. It seems to cycle through various systems. Displaying a series of Goa'uld glyphs in rapid succession. Schematics of the ship are brought up on a screen and damaged parts of the hatak become highlighted in red as the computer scans the ship running a self diagnostic. If there were any inhabitants remaining on the vessel, a low rumble would be heard as a powerful generator of lost origins fires up from deep within the craft for the first time after years of inactivity. The ancient power source begins to emit a golden glow which begins to spread rapidly throughout the vessel. As the power builds still dormant systems come online. Engines, weapons, shields sealing off damaged sections of the ships haul exposed to space and life support.......
Several levels above this power source a totally sealed off chamber lays in darkness. One by one dim torches flicker to life, casting a low light across the chamber. In the centre of the floor lays the chambers sole item. A sarcophagus. The chamber begins to grow lighter but this new light does not radiate from the torches. The sarchophagus seems to come to life of it's own accord, the seal widening as the heavy cover slabs slide noiselessly apart. No body rests in side... Yet a curious glow now permeates the room. Seemingly it hovers above the sarcophagus for a time before it rises, disappearing through the ceiling. Back on the the bridge the ships interface continues to run it's diagnostics as the bright glow comes up through the floor where it begins to take on shape. The rumbling stops. The power source has finished charging and the ship discharges a halo of golden energy obliterating all of the debris floating about it.
Far below on the planets surface a low rumble is heard across the sky, much like thunder though the sky is clear. Many of the planets inhabitants stop what they are doing and look to the skies to witness a bright golden ring of light spreading across the sky. The ring growing larger as it travels away from the shining point from which it originated. Confused the people in the fields stand and watch as this star like light appears to be growing rapidly in size. As the object descends from the heavens it begins to take on shape. Clearly now a large object resembling a pyramid with mile long 'points' protruding from each face of this object can be seen coming from the skies. What's more this thing seems as if it will land on top of the deserted, ancient temple where the old God was was once worshipped. A frighted man whispers to his son who takes off across the fields, headed for the village. The priests of the old faith must be alerted. - Aroditian has returned......
