Am i a Vuture?

I first heard this term back when the server wars were going on. I figured it simply meant, "anyone farming a server war side" I now understand it means, "anyone who farms when the player is at war".
Humor me if you will, but; This is the way i see it:
If you are at war you are making the choice to have 0 on a regular basis
If you have a 0 defense you are far more likely to be farmed
thus
If you are at war you are more likely to be farmed.
The only variable for a person getting farmed is the defensive strength, and this variable is controlled not by the farmer but by the player who is getting farmed.
I treat the everyone in the server the same, if its profitable, its fair, so i will hit people at war whose defense is not sufficient to protect their naq and i'm really getting annoyed that people still can't see that the only change in the farming equation to get (naq > defense = profit) to (naq < defense = non profit) is for them to build a defense that makes it unprofitable for the other person to farm them, or they reduce their income to a point where it doesn't cross the threshold of the profitable hit line.
So, am i a fair farmer for treating everyone equally, or, am i a vulture?
P.S Imagine a boxer that drew a big bulls eye on his face and didn't block an incoming punch and he lost the fight, would it be his fault or not? If the boxer then beat up his opponant in the parking lot for winning the fight would that be right or not?
hint, its a metaphor for massing a farmer who farms you when you have done nothing to stop the farmer from farming, you may have shouted abuse at him or told him not to, but you have done nothing to protect yourself or block the hit.
