i really miss the 20k turns cap also, not sure why it was changed especially now that the MT turns rate is 3k per 5x trade, so 6 of them is 18k a week, can't even use all your MT's at one time on turns, have to use or sell/offload which is highly frustrating :(

I don't think that this has anything to do with the security update, but since it's still August I thought I'd put it here, like the turn cap decrease, instead of starting another thread.

For the first time since the last mass deleting of inactive accounts, the battlefield was cleaned up and tidied - no more missing ranks, no more empty pages and the inactives have been reshuffled throughout the lower rankings; looks rather neat now :)

Thank you for this security update. It awesome... naq dont disapear one second after turn. Farming is great now and all scripters gone... hopefully.

Thank you all involved. After so many years its finaly done.

I noticed just a small difference.... farming is now so profitable :)

Spam split. Keep the discussion on topic with the update. Accusations of cheating and the like go elsewhere.

I have not read all the pages can someone answer me this

is this security update the reason why my pages are loading up so slow i could take a plane and hit my farms over the head with a club faster !!

because it sucks i it does, last thing I want to do when I go on a raid spree is spend 5hrs when I used to spend an hour, I got better things to do

another game killer is all I see

Quite possibly yes. The server now send the army size and Naq in the open as images instead of text. This is for the time being, preventing scripters from using scripts to automatically farm accounts, and is providing higher yields for most.

How do reduce load times is still being discussed in other threads.

yes the load times are slower, but not that much slower for me. As a human and not a script...it is so much easier to farm for naq as the naq on inactive accounts is alot more and not taken within 2 min of a turn change.

Every now and then, the new images (on the battlefield and in other places as well) vanish - for as long as one or several minutes, at various times during a turn.
Image
Edit: for the second turn in a row, images reappeared shortly (two minutes or so), then disappeared again.

Today they were gone for at least 30 minutes I would say, along with the game being very slow at same time until they reappeared.

Took about an hour and twenty minutes in all, part of a one-time process ran on the server which had a few (or at least 1 very noticeable) side effects; generated text-images not appearing being one of them, some slowness another.

The old text numbers were back just now, then gone again shortly after. I thought my eyes were playing a trick on me the first time it happened, but this time I checked, and took a screenshot:

Glitch, or a change to the update?

They were, and now they are not. (They are not supposed to appear at all.)

Could randomly choose a section to display as numbers to lighten the load...not sure if AJ has that in his code.
