so i'm trying to put a stargate on people that way i can expand faster.
i win, but it says i don't manage to build one.
i'm assuming its because i don't have to much naq on hand?
also, is it better to have my covert level closer to their anti covert level or to have my level a lot higher then theirs? which is cheaper?

Re: gating
Its cheaper to have your covert closer to their anti covert. The formula for how much naq you need is 10 mil times your (covert divide by their anti covert)

Re: gating
in the game newgrounds there is an option that says gate them. dont know if you knew this or no. if i gate more than one person or player or whatever you wanna call them. does the person get a portion of their resouces . or is it just use for raiding one time a day ?

Re: gating
"Gate them" is used to build stargates in someone's realm (only if he doesn't have them), then you can use stargates to raid, sab and blitzkrieg (as most of active players have one so it's used mostly to be able to raid someone inactive). From what I know there is nothing else gained by gating people.

Re: gating
If you 'gate someone' you build a stargate. Nothing more, nothing less. You do not get any resources, if anything it costs you a load of naquadah to build a stargate for that player.
After you build a stargate, you can raid / blitzkrieg that person. You can raid effectively an unlimited amount of times per day, but no more than your UP's worth per day. (I.e. on a person with no Untrained Units, you can hit them as many times as you want.)
You phrased your question extremely vaguely (and based on a completely different idea of what 'gating' does as opposed to the game's reality), and I asked you politely to rephrase it so I or someone else could help you. Thank you.
