The United Nations, is an international organization whose stated aims are facilitating cooperation in international law, international security, economic development, social progress, human rights, and achievement of world peace.

Founded after the the Earth World War II of the Tauri, they were appointed by the cultures of Earth to allow intervention and collaboration of the member states to counteract rising situations and neutralise them as applicable. Working with SG-1, their involvement soon spread to other planets and eventually the Pegasus Galaxy as well as local organisations in as many as 35 different galaxies.

The United Nations supports the majority vote of all it's members and states and will conduct local and direct sanctions and support where necessary.

Our membership is open to all of those people who want to make a difference to the Universe.

We openly welcome all alliances and cultures to a voice within the United Nations. We act upon all hostilities within the Universe, each member to the United Nation is supplied with one vote, each active allegiance to the United Nations will be given one vote.

Majority vote will dictate the ruling on each conflict.

Application to the United Nations will be by invite or by recommendation by majority vote.

It's all dependant on the community. The setup will be like this.

Each Member to United Nations = 1 Vote
Each Alliance Envoy to United Nations = 1 Vote

Invites to the alliance will be decided by the members and envoys through majority vote. 1 envoy per "Empire".

The idea is not to be a large empire, but an alliance prepared to fight for what is right, thus the idea of allowing other alliances to speak for what they believe, hopefully ensuring our opinions are clear.

We do not fight for or on behalf of anyone, alliances at war will not be elligible for voting in situations personal to them.

It allows those who enjoy playing the game to have a reason to fight for just causes.

You would need a backup plan though, -for when people bicker too much and don't come to any conclusion what to do, you would need to appoint a "bush" hehe
