Well anyway, in a couple months a bunch of us are going to be running around with two main and two ascended accounts for total domination

Sounds like an attempt by admin to make the game look more popular then it actually is to me lol

I mean only 130-160 online at any given time :-/ atleast now you'll have 300+ lol

Fair enough. It is just as much nonsense to say that 'your hard worked for accounts will be ruined'.

I can see your point of view, this does seem a little unfair to the players who have put years into the game only to have a noob catch up very quickly. But at the same time, the game needs something to make it feel like you have a chance as a noobie. This could potentially bring in new players (albeit not much because who plays these types of games any more?). This is the type of game that would probably fare alot better on a mobile device.

The admins will do anything to bring in new players because it is a potential new revenue stream. Just my .02.

Admins will do anything to boost their revenue? Well yeah, who doesn't like money. No one builds/runs games for the warm fuzzy feeling of doing something nice

As for noobs catching up quickly, that's a good thing if it works. We need some new players coming in. The GC section has been pretty much empty since 2010. Any wars that popped up have already been done in the past. TL vs mH. DDE vs FS. TA vs OE. Been like that for years now... the only new thing that's happened this year was DDE vs OE really...

Personally I dont think multi-ing is the way forward but who knows, we'll find out soon enough I guess

This makes sense. How would you make it fare better on mobile devices?

Quite right, Atomos. However, when making $, one has to keep in mind that their customers need to have some pleasure playing the game.

This is partially why the BloodWar update is being launched; bloodwar itself having been launched years ago; this is the expansion -fix.
