Square Bracket Filter

I seem to be encountering an issue on the forum that means that any code that utilises the "]" is causing an automatic filter.

I have tried this with the url, bold, and quote commands and all post in some absolutely retarded cluster of random (that's how I'm choosing to describe it).

Evidence from update thread:

https://talk.gatewa.rs/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=194748&start=30

More or less it makes my posts appear like:
[ quote="Juliette":**Filtered**][ quote="~Belsamber~":**Filtered**] Enter the era of failed sabs or over costly sabs and encouraging people to go back to old school massing [/quote:**Filtered**] And *this* is why J is implementing it. [/quote:**Filtered**]

Edit: apparently, it could be isolated solely to the above thread as evidently I've been able to quote and use other commands in making this post, to which I've had to add spaces to show the issue (which makes even less sense; mods can check my latest post in the linked thread...I quoted directly through the buttons in the thread as opposed to typing them out = laziness)

Yes, this occasionally happens.. I thought removing your post and reposting fixed it?

Unfortunately I can't delete my own posts in that thread, so wouldn't be able to say one way or the other.

Well, I tried editing again, no avail, and my preview function displayed the same issue. If it's isolated to one single thread, I'm happy for this to be closed, but if it occurs again, I'll PM you SS.

Thanks though!

its a bug that pops up every now and then. Unfortunately its nigh impossible to figure out what triggers it. (at least for us... php experts might have more chance, but who knows?)

If you come across it again, removing your post before it is replied to and then reposting it should solve it. if it is too late, the best solution is to remove any and all BBcode in that post so it doesn't look that odd.
