In this thread, I would like to see everyone (who reads this) post a list of the locations+times they wish to visit, should they have access to a temporal-spatial teleportation device.
Damascus - founding date - First settlement
Rome - 60 BC - First Triumvirate
Rome - 44 BC - Caesar's death; Speech by Marcus Antonius.
..
Will add more later. ^_^

I'd like to watch as they discovered fire. I bet the look on their faces was priceless!

Do you mean 'discover how to control', or do you literally mean the first moment one of them came across a natural fire (e.g. lightning-caused or volcanic)?

Both I am sure would be fantastic.

I would go back to WWII in the Pacific Theater during the invasion of Iwo Jima, though I would bring with me a M4 and M16 both with M203s(with about 1,000 HE rounds) on the bottom with ACOGs for the sights and have at least 10,000 rounds and help kill all the Japanese.
I would also go back to the European Theater during the time of Operation Market Garden to help kill the Germans with the same combat load as I would above.
There are other times, but I cant think of any more right now.

I was more thinking of when they learned how to master it. But I had pictured both. Amazing to see I bet!

No.. I suppose mastering fire is a full control over pyrogenesis and pyrokenesis.
