so when does this crap actually finish??

When only one race remains.

Admin should have kicked out the inactives A LOT more quicker but oh well it seems 700 odd remain.

so if i get "defeated" so to speak, i dont get decended...just played back into normal play as opposed to staying in the tournament?
also, still retain all stats/weapons/units etc before entering the tourney or you lose those?

no you don't get decended, and yes everything you had before tourney will be the same you just wont be able to hit some of your farms until they too get booted from Tourney

Train up all of your planets as defense troops. Sell your defense weapons and post your ascended id here. I'm sure someone will be along shortly for the spoils of war
