as above but as a new player I get offers of advice from a lot of players which is all very welcome but if I want to learn/know about players/alliances past and present is there some sort of profile on here of each player/alliance ?


wouldnt want to get mixed up with someone who would be bed for me, read a few posts about scammers etc

there used to be a bit of a perspective of alliances but it was deleted

the best way to avoid trouble is to join a alliance tbh there isnt a perticular alliance that has a bad reputation they are all on the whole good eggs its individuals that cause problems

Agreed. There is no alliance that would be full of scammers. Even alliances that aren't liked would give good advice.

You can usually get a good idea by asking around, because although you should not trust everyone blindly, no one here is out to get you (except Rykole/Fenrir, our local neighbourhood scammer, we keep him around because he sucks at it, lol).. like my famous Disney character says "Stick with me, and you'll never go hungry again!" (But just in case, you can also check the Blacklisted Traders section in the Market, or ask one of the people in the Hall of Fame - no guarantees, but they are in there for a reason.)
There are many who will render assistance, but if you run into someone who gives you bad advice (usually recognisable by: "omg lol attack that guy now lulz" - or indeed any other call to blindly attack someone bigger than you), post about it, and the self-correcting mechanisms of the community will handle it.

this section would be your starting point.. look at the blacklist ...

there are also feedbacks some trade ppl set up for themselves,

long term scammers often return under new names whenever they are outed.. if your suspicious of anyone search for their name and or id on here..

main thing is be vary of anyone until you've come to know them especially if real $$$ is involved..

I dont think I would spend $$, I did dabble in the game a few years back and lasted about a month if that !, got some freebies and spent a bit then when it got taken off me I threw all my toys from the pram, didnt appreciate the work some people put into accounts ! So want to try and build my own

And when we are just talking about in game advice, Femme? Because I do not think he means trading, really.. just the many sources of advice, people saying this, people saying that, who to believe.. I can see how that would get confusing for someone new.
