Believe me..... its just a waste buying spy levels that are high if you are going to ascend... yeah it gives you points, but you loose it. You can use the naq for other stuff instead.
But everyone has there own ways... soem like to get up as fast as possible.... others take there time.....others take alot of resources up with them....others take the minimum..

Thats the great thing about it.... there are alot of different optios - i just know not ascending is a bad option in the long run!

i did three of thos tactics, went up fast with a bunch of reasorses then left the top with most of my reasorses so it took the minimum when i acended

i think not acending is a bad option strait away, it took me a couple of months to start getting g&r, it took me a week and a half to get back there after i acended

Ascending might be very expensive. Do we know the penalties for being descended yet? Do we know how difficult it will be to pull that off? Do we know what happens when all the functionality on the ascended server is implemented? No. No. and No. Time will tell. Until then I shall refrain from full cost:benefit analysis.

then look at it at as a benifit strictly for the main server, weps are twice as powerfull, so you need 1/2 the amount also that means you need half the uu to train into supers. repair cost for weps when compared to my tauri officer was one tenth per wepon and since you need 1/2 the weps the repair bill is 5% of that paid by the other races. free bank and also i have worked out the naq per damage to be really close to the tauri without factoring in the repair bill

hopefully...i noticed on the ascention pages(ascention server) that there is a descend link...anyone wanna click and try it?

you know i really want to know if fourums actually going to impliment this decending thing, cause if it does excist i cant figure out how it works. i would also asume that you can lose your acended acount, but in main your shell character should remain the same because it would only make sence

I was one of the first to ascend when the serever opened, really screwed my account up lol so I pretty much gave up SGW for a couple weeks then but I thought I'd come back and give it another go (My shell was virtually bare).

By the time I decided I wanted to go from prior to prophet I have 21k Glory points lol and here I am now as incarnate, when I ascended from:

Prior to Prophet I had 26k APP

Prophet to Messiah I had 29k APP

Messiah To Incarnate I had 21k APP

Living God I'm taking atleast 40k APP, but alas that is a couple weeks away yet, as you can see I'm putting alot into ascension

why didn;t you send all your stuff to a friend so that you could rebiuld faster??

I have ascended 6 times, the main reason though was because I wanted all the bonuses on main server.

The 30% bonus to each stat and the better weapons make us very superior to the non-ascended

I believe if you ascend 6 times you only get 26%. I may be wrong, but after the fifth time I thought that the bonuses were down to 1%.

Are you aware there is a rule regarding the discussion of ascension outside of the ascension forums?
