My SG vault would be a little incomplete without it. Hell I even have the Jack O'Niell sunglasses.

Yeah me too. I for one have to hold my books and folders down by my waist when I stand so nobody can see how excited I am for this game.

Plenty of people here who do not know how to spell gauould.
The initial rush of Star Gate fans no doubt caused threats of litigation.

I figured it wouldn't take too many forum dwellers to notice that I did not know.
SG was something that one of my girlfriends was interested in, and that was decades ago.
For new players? 94 the franchise started? '11 by the time it entirely collapsed?
This started 08? Well established market hype about SG-1 but on the falling crest of the show.
So yeah, the unknowns know how to spell it, I am not even entirely sure about what one looks like.

This is a pathetic excuse for a game. Oh lets half ass 10 years of trying to get a Star Gate game out and finally release one but for phones and tablets? I find Sim City far more engaging than this sad excuse for a game.
Next time they decide to revamp or even consider just making something SG, do it right or don't bother doing it at all.

Stargatewars started in 2005, when stargate was probably at its peak of popularity (SG-1 was working on season 8 and Atlantis was in the second half of its first season). Battlestar Galactica was just starting then too and Sci-Fi was going through a little golden age. It's understandable that MGM didn't want people using their product without seeing profit from it though it sucked for all of us.

They oftentimes wear really kitschy robes and act like over-the-top Gods and force people to worship them...
Oh and that game looks kinda crappy. It's a shame that is all that was ever made after all the hope for that online fighting game for SG-1 that was in development for ages...Stargate Alliance was it?
