However with my high and increasing income, and the fact that people do not seem to notice that my MS is doing enough damage to make me less of a target than just the NAQ would indicate. The disciples of wealth are looking attractive.

While I am not yet interested in getting involved in any conflict, or having anyone tell me how to play the game, I would be open to buying protection.

So if you only want protection why would an alliance want you? A non-contributing member?

So basically you want to convince people who do not want you to 'tolerate' you because of the funds you channel into the alliance.

Interesting concept. You do realise you would be talking 10s of trillions per week in order to make up for any damage they sustain in protecting you.. Might be cheaper to protect yourself.

Offering half to any alliance who can defend it for me, because, frankly, I have a welks chance in a supanova of defending it on my own.

From the responses I have had so far, it has no legs.

Best model I have so far, is having a powerful alliance stand up and say "It's my **Filtered**, no one else is allowed to beat it" and then have it's members farm me.

Probably not worth anyone's time for a measly 4 trillion a week.

26 billion a turn income? looking to triple that? Way to get farmed!

This world has not developed systems for dealing with that resource. (no one else has been stupid enough to provide it)

Any alliance who wanted to take on the task of defending me for three days a week would face a huge cost in denying others access to farming me. Both in logistics (self farming) and in stand over.


When my NG account comes up, and if others take the same path, the rewards are not inconsiderable.
This is simply a test case.
I doubt it will work, however if it does, it provides an avenue for new players to get into the game faster.
4 billion a week is one thing.
100 people providing 4 billion a week is worth having.

Oh, it has been done before. At one point, there were people with 400B income (when income planets temporarily provided radical bonuses). They defend that through being known to obliterate anyone who takes it. Basically, seeing their name increases the limit a person has to take Naq considerably:
I would usually take anything over 50B, but when I see the name (or alliance) - name something scary; like CCexy and DDE (for instance) - it would have to be a multiple trillion hit for me to consider hitting. And even then, I would propose sending a bunch of it back.


Just something to consider. You could build your name to be something people fear.

For me to defend my own income, when I can not be relied to log in for at least 8 hours and possibly 48?

How many people will see the big pile of NAQ out in the open, and just hit without looking?
I get farmed repeatedly by people who fail to notice that my MS is big enough that they are actually loosing money on what looks like a soft target.

A name? An implied threat of vengeance? Until such a time that I can raise a pirate crew? I am considering a temporary alliance.

Watching my attack logs? I'ts mostly top few hundred players who farm me. They have something to loose by pissing off an alliance, but nothing to loose by farming me.

So I am looking for an alliance, preferably in the house of Heset. Someone with power, with vision, who can understand that if they open this door much more can come through it.

I personally want fighting members in my alliance. I'd rather have a fighter who actually is a smaller asset than someone just providing resources because the fighter might actually be something some day.

No one would accept unless you were able to contribute a fair amount of naq a day.

I still urge you to join me and my lonely self at W & H, I can't say I'll protect you like that, but I'll help you form your band of pirates early

Edit: Juliette, There's still at least one person I can think of that has around 452B income as of last week.

Right now, a banner could give me a 30% increase on my basic income.

It's been a while since anyone bothered having a basic income.
I'ld like to bring that back.

15% available for anyone brave enough to develop a system for accepting it.

You're asking for an alliance where you don't get farmed, and you don't want to fight.
