So, I've been playing XCOM: Enemy unkown for a few days, first day - fine nothing wrong, second day - BSOD (I assumed because I was also skyping someone)
Third day - BSOD, updated drivers and my BIOS did a registry clean and a defrag
fourth day - still BSOD
I don't suppose anyone has any idea why?

BSOD - hardware failure, or your RAM just cant cope with it. Might have got away with it 1-2 times with less working in background, but if everything else works fine, your PC just cant handle what is being asked to do.
