war threads are simple the bad blood in various wars with various alliances have gone bad to worse

my suggestion is

you can only post this

factual things in game

EG player 1 takes out player 2 defence or planet

nothing else but in game facts

observations are not allowed like this

Oh wow u can take my defence when I sleep not online etc......... not fact people have different time zones

etc

that would be entirely pointless.

Stop trying to deny it, we all hate loads of people. We all say mean things. No stopping it.

Removing the place to vent is just going to make people explode in private, if its in the public you at least have others there to help buffer it

It can't be denied that quite often people take it way way too far

Unfortunately board warnings and bans don't seem to have much if any effect

I'm not sure, but I think this belongs in the forum issue section. Also, this is a great idea - IF there can be an accompanying thread where you can discuss all you want.

Honestly, I'm not sure if it's that the warnings and bans aren't having an effect or that they aren't happening often enough.

People don't come to the forums because every time someone new says something, hordes of morons pounce on them both here and INGAME.

And yes, legions of people in alliances just like yours are responsible. I'm not saying its only your alliance, and I'm not saying my previous group of merry men were pure of heart either. But in my experience, that is why new people do not venture forth here. It is an unwelcoming spite-filled terrible community full of bile.

As for older players... you're right. They are just sick and tired of the droning **Filtered** that never truly changes imo.

They have no effect because every time someone is warned, it does nothing but cause lulz.
Every time someone is banned, they lulz through it and it goes away in two weeks.
Almost Every time someone is perma-banned... it gets over turned.

There is NO Consequence.

perhaps every ban even a first ban should be 2 weeks and then double every ban eg the next should be a month long instead of 2 weeks then 3rd be 2 months

I have been here i dont no 8 years or something like that i put a self imposed ban for 2 months come back its the same crap im like shh

Bans are pointless, anything severe enough to hurt gets over-turned.

Not every allaince is the same, some can actually have a thread filled with banter and role play and the ability to not post childish insults, so not every allaince should be made to obide a strict ruleset cause two allainces wreck it for everyone else...
