I was disappointed by the first episode. Thoughts?

I actually thought it was brilliant.
Epic, and extremely funny though I suppose it wanted to be very serious.. so maybe accidentally funny. Who knows.

This series so far has reignited my love for Julie Benz that was almost extinguished after her totally unnecessary demise on Dexter and my dislike for "No Ordinary Family".. a love that started with my first look at her as Babs Nielsen. And intermittently her performances. Varying levels of goodness. Overall top though.

Still undecided.....

I kind of feel like we need a show like Defiance right now but perhaps as a primer/gimmick show to create a nice market share for a much better show to swoop in and captivate us.

You should play the game as well. The combination makes for an epic experience.

I like it, the game is great too.

how strange, this series so far has done nothing but reiterate why i hate her, to me she is an extremely poor actor and her presence in the series is solely down to her...physical attributes

i fear she will be the death of this show

*grin* The show is funded by the sales from and in the game. The way that is going now it should be able to run for a bit. Anyway!

Hm. Interesting, because you and I are usually on the same page, or at least in the same book.. ah well. To each their own preferences. Good to see such different opinions though.

Well, whenever I really like a series, it gets cancelled, so I am not going to say either way

I might have to look at the game though, it's an interesting premise linking what happens now in the game with what will happen in season two.

well abt game.. first when i saw the reviews i was disappointed lol.. but when i played it then i am hooked to it... its a good game..

This show has some serious potential I believe.
It kind of reminds me of Farscape.
