Would it cost to do the 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th ascensions on PPT. I've heard about 80t, anyone have more precise figures?

I would expect it to be a lot higher.
The TCC guys can probably enlighten you though.

I had 90t when I started ascending from 13 and from my calculations I should have a bit extra left when I finish (at 17 now). I'll have to use two PPTs and no PPT for 20.

You can receive what.. about 6t per day atm? Spend your remaining 2.8k or so techs on MS which will increase that to closer to 12t.

You need 38.4t to get to 100k UP so you can do that in 3 days of receiving naq. You already have 46t out so you can actually get 100k UP and increase your techs straight away.

There are 2 main benefits to 100k UP. First you can increase your MS rapidly (4k per day). Also, when you ascend to 17 you will be able to raid 100k UU straight away.

I haven't experimented with it but I imagine being able to raid your previous days UP after ascending is the key to ascending really fast.

Once you have all of these things... you ask me really nicely to send you 200t naq over 10 or so days ... or buy it off me.

I suppose that didn't answer your question exactly, but I am sure 200t will get you pretty close It only costs about 90t (30t per ascension) to get from 0-80k UP on ascension lvl 17/18/19. The rest can be spent on techs.

EDIT - hmm my 6t estimate wasn't bad. I just sent you 5.3t naq because I am a nice person and have nothing better to spend my naq on.

Actually, raiding would only speed up your ascension if you wanted to do the whole process unprotected. The minute you raid you lose your PPT. So you basically would have to raid just before you ascend to the next level, and then would immediately lose those units as you ascend. It could still be useful though. You can either put those units raided into MS and wait to ascend until after reset to get a small nickel back via transfer from someone, or give those units away to allies and bolster them as you ascend. Then they can bolster you back when you finish ascending.

It is pretty damn cheap to build a defense that no-one will attack you with though
