I recently ascended my account to Main from NG but have not been able to access the account in main at all. It has been 5 days and I have had a message to support@gatewars but have yet to get a response. Is this normal for accounts to not work this long or it is part of the transition such as the NG account being on vacation for a week?

Actually, you should have been able to access it immediately.

Unless something changed, the login info for NG-Main should be the same as that for NG, except the account name starts with * before the regular login name.

Don't forget that * in front of your username.

I figured as much and yes I have not forgotten the * it simply says that the info I enter returns no player account. I have the confirmation email that shows my log on details but they just dont work??

I would think that somebody would have at least responded to let me know they are looking into but not even that.

Its been 9 days now and not so much as a reply from either the support or urgent contact?

We are checking what the problem is, what did and what did not happen.
It takes time. More than I originally imagined, apologies.

Looking for an update..

I find it hard to believe that nobody can tell me whats going on. Its been two weeks and I havent even got a response back from support or urgent email addresses. Is that normal procedure?

Well, this is just a forum after all, we don't all have direct access to admin, and we don't ever get told what is happening to individuals in game. This is mostly just the community getting together for chit chat and spam and trades and wars and all the other good stuff.

As always, I advise you to attend one of the two admin meets that happen on Fridays, you might be able to chat to Admin Jason directly, and that's always going to be the fastest way of getting anything done, that and emailing urgent@gatewars.com

FYI:- admin meet is at 8:30 and 16:30 PDT (Fridays) on IRC.

By the way telling people to mail the urgent or support addresses is joke!! As you can see from my previous posts I have yet to get a response from either of them and they claim 48hrs up to a week. Its been 2 weeks and not one reply from either of them.

Yes, working. Comrade who commands Main is absent, however, frustrating various efforts in the process. He will be back, and the issues will be resolved.

My last problem took almost 3 MONTHS to get a response from any of the 3 administrative adresses. it's just admins not doing the job that makes them their money.
