Commanders and Officers

Ok so I can see that commanders gives there officers 30% of there income, what rate of the UP do they get off the officer? can somebody please clarify?
I found it
Officers: You can have a max of 8
Reduces your income by 30%, increases your total UP by approx 6% of officers UP, per officer.
