I want to know how it ended up in the game in the first place. It does not seem like a feature that the majority of the community would have agreed on at all...

indeed it just makes it so boring.. on the receiving end you can't do anything accept repair or ppt.

but then I remembered why I liked it, so I changed it back...

What's the sense in that? Jason likes death, means more people buying UU, meaning more black market trades and game stimulus through trading?

ETS was placed as a balancing mechanism to reduced PPT capacity.
To my knowledge, PPT was never truly reduced though, so it has other effects.
Besides, Daleks are cool.
