Why do the famous female "popstars" in the US all try to be a bunch of **Filtered**?

I mean, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Ke$ha, Miley Cyrus, Lil Kim...and the list goes on!

Perversion of youth.

Some are just like that, Some I'm sure feel like they have to act that way to sell CD's and Tickets which is of course there right and respect them for trying to make a dollar any way they can with the way the system is set up.

Others I would say aren't that way at all.

Some were rather respectable and turned into trash **Filtered** like Lindsay Lohan (years ago) or Miley Cyrus (recently)...most of the others I listed since they have been famous, have been trash.

Indeed. It is funny how that seems to happen to all those Disney princesses.

Nicki Minaj is actually a very smart chick though, don't underestimate her because she's different.

Being famous has never been good to anyone - although I have to give credit to f.x. Christina Aguilera, unlike Britney she's really down to earth. But she doesn't let the other people's opinions affect her it seams and that seams to be the key.

I think the huge breakdown we're all waiting for is mister Bieber - who lately yelled at papparazzi's "you want a piece of that" ... What I don't get is... piece of what? He's like 10 pounds, I could eat him and still have room for more. But oh well. We all know he will end badly.

Oh and before anyone says I'm jealous, I'd remind them I didn't list every popular pop star: Kelly Clarkson, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Nelly Furtado, Jennifer Lopez...aren't trash **Filtered** imo. (not saying models of respectability either lol)
