Do threats deter you?

Everyone has seen that guy in main with a million threats on his planets or in his custom title, "Touch me and you will die", "My alliance will burn you"! Hell I even have some myself!
My question is, do you ever actually acknowledge them/heed their warning?
I for one generally don't care in the slightest; I mainly play ascended and as you all know if you log on ascension server, you will struggle to find a player that doesn't have a threat next to his name!

That pretty much, but if I know them/about them then I know to farm them or not anyway, for example would you farm rob3rt even if he had no threats? No, because you know he is going to mass you anyway

When someone threatens me I want to mass them. Even if I really really shouldn't.

I think this is a great thread!
When i first started I took names on planets very seriously, If someone said they were protected by their alliance or CO (and providing they had an alliance or CO) I would think twice about hitting them. This was maybe for the first 3 months of my SGW life. Now days sadly names on planets mean bugger all
