So I thought by having a co you would lose your bonus up but gain extra income?
It appears I have lost both & I don't have any officers either
Co has 7 other officers, but that shouldnt take my income tho should it?

Well, you probably had yourself as your commander prio to joining this new guy. So you would have had a small income bonus from yourself.

You have now joined a commander with 7 officers, so however much of your commanders income he has set to give to his officers (10 - 30%) will split equaly between all 7 of you. So it is entirely possible that you will be getting less NAQ per turn now that your his/her officer, than you would have been getting being your own commander.

Just to clarify though, the commander does not get any of your NAQ, he/she only gets a bonus to their UP generation.

No commander: +10% income and +10% UP
Yourself as commander: +20% UP
Another commander: minimum wage
