Multi?

So I keep seeing everyone say about their "multi" since I have returned to the game, now forgive me for asking but what do they mean by this. Back in the day if you had multiple accounts that was classed as cheating and an instant ban, is it ok or something to have one now?

You can ascend in Newgrounds, after 20 ascensions you get a 'legal multi' which you can play on Main regardless of whether or not you already have an account in Main.

question onto this - if i buy someones NG multi, does that still class as a legit multi for me even know i dont have an actual newgrounds account? or would this be illegal?

People sell off their NG multis all the time so it is legal
then they make another one and keep doing it etc etc

yeah but once they're sold are they still a legal multi or ore they sold as an upgrade to someones main?

Nah it is perfectlt legal to buy an *ng main. As long as you only have 1 of each account you are fine.

You cannot sell just the NG Main and keep access to the NG. Nor can you keep an NG account on vacation and start a new one (the one on vacation is your account, you can only have 1, regardless of activity status). As outlined before, that
is illegal and will result in (increasingly severe) punishment.

You can buy someone's NGM, NG
and (if applicable) NGA account (as a package),
unless you already have either an NG, NGM or NGA account.
