Who would have thought

Hey Everyone,
So this month marks my 7th year playing SGW, It has been a very very long time. I started out with a bunch of RL mates that sadly no longer play. I didn't think I would have been playing this game for as long as I have been, A lot of it has to do with the social side of it (sticking around because of the people etc).
So i guess my question is, how long have you been playing and did you expect to be still playing this far along?

It's been 7 years for me as well. Left/rejoined a few times - left due to boredom/lack of interest, and rejoined for practically the same reasons too. Always a good social environment to come back to (it'd be nice if it stopped shrinking though).

nudging the 8yr mark (in Oct), though no longer active on main.. was never a war monger the social side always outweighed the war part.
never thought be part of a game based on a tv show I've never watched for so long,

Almost 8 years for me and still haven't watched more than a couple episodes of stargate and it took years playing before I saw my first one

I have only "quit" for 2 weeks, was a mini break then returned and remained in hidding till i was ready to re-appear as Odie.

feb 2008 its states on the forum, however i joined before my bro simpson_eh and he is on the forum from march 07.
