limit GW characters like twitter

is this possible to limit the amount of characters in GC
i think this would cut down on the abuse possible short of just shutting down the GC altoghter which i think is the only soultion to the problem of personal abuse these days

2 things:
1. Twitter. Have you
seen the abuse going on there? 140 characters is enough to tear anyone apart.
2. What 'issue of personal insults'? Near as I can tell it's pretty timid these days, with most hotheads venting their rage on Skype, then posting somewhat calmly (definitely compared to worse times past)..
It's why we leave it unmodded. If it were the den of iniquity you make it out to be, we would bar the gates and salt the earth.

Yeah, I've seen some absolutely destructive tweeting before. Also, it would hinder actual reports on wars.

If there are extreme posts going on or any posts you think have broken a rule (keep in mind GC is being kept a little more relaxed these days) then report it and one of the mods would be more then happy to check it out. If they feel it crosses a line or two then the correct actions I'm sure will be taken.
