Sending 81 invites to random accounts is not a good move... Watch accounts through the week to see if they move in rank, or if their turns move north or south (advice from a former alliance leader).
And to jump on what DDE members have been saying, talking to players is VITAL. You need to know what they are up to every second. Or your alliance will crumble. Otherwise, enjoy.
