Lord Baal, returning after a 3 year slumber

hey everyone, I just dropped in to see what all is going on with this game still. I was an active player for about 3 years, last logged in though in August of 2010, my account, hopefully still there, has been on Vac Mode since then. Harsh personal times caused me to need to take time away, and then one thing led to another and i never made it back.
Looking over the forums, it seems a lot has changed in the game, but also a lot remains. I see the main bigger alliances are still around, knew you guys would be
I do not see my old alliance/group of the Goa'uld Empire, guess with me gone you guys finally lost the battle and joined new ranks huh, sorry to see that.
So, for being out of the game so long, it is possible to even get back into it without getting totally annihilated or what? I do not remember all my stats, I know i was at the highest ascension level at the time, 23 i think, my army was only about 325million, do not remember anything else really. Im assuming people have armies well into the billions by now and MSs probably at insane levels. but I have a bit of free time, not as much as it took before, i remember needed to log in at least twice a day to stay safe lol, so i might be interested in getting back into the game.
so, if anyone who knew me before sees this, id be glad to hear from you, anyone else with any info i would greatly appreciate it
