Stupid poll and has already given the answer if anyone watches the show it clearly states he is locked in the battle with Oma

BUT....we know that in order for Anubis to have been offered ascension by Oma in the first place he would have had to go through the act of dying. (in the same way daniel did both times)
after all, in the episode at Kheb, Bra'tac gave up the ascension path when he realised he was not ready to die.... /end

I may have said that, though we are talking theoretically, of course, Daniel Died...though when he was ascended he was clearly not dead.
He went through the act of dying. Though he did not actually die.
The essence of Daniel went on to the higher plane of existence, the same would apply to Anubis. He died, but lived on. (but this is moot as Anubis did not die during the show.)
