The iconic UI but with bots instead of humans, varying levels of aggresiveness, growth and so on. Maybe even integration with the whole system. I would pay for this to happen.

sounds cool, but i think that people can figure out patterns and it will make exploiting way to easy...

cheating on a single player GW is like cheating on any other single player game. It only affects you, so it's not really a big deal.

Learn to program a php bot and then you could right one although it kind of defeats the purpose of a multiplayer game. The bot would of course just end up being its own program which would run on top of a game so its easy to do but I don't see why anyone would want to do it myself personally.

Disclaimer: I do not support the use of botting in the game or recommend anyone tries it

Why? Why would you want a singleplayer version of a game where interaction is everything?

So you want an offline version of it?

I'm a bit confused about what the gameplay you are so fond of, would even entail.

The hours/days/weeks you could spend farming & raiding regenerating bots.. what would you do with the resources gained?

I suppose you could build up and target the regenerating defences of the bots around you, but presumably, massing computer programs that never fought back, would eventually get old.

Offline GW would just be a building app, Stargate Statbuilders Inc :smt060

Part of the fun of the game is not just the community, but the randomness of human nature. You never really know if the next person you look at in the cosmos is going to have 500trils out, give you a hand when you're down.... or mass you, your officers and your alliance..

Urgh. I think I just agreed with Loki... :smt073

Might be kinda fun.

Make the bots agressive. Set difficulty.

It's kinda nice to play a familiar game whenever you want. Whether your internet is connected or not. Obviously it's not gonna be a tool to make you a pro gw player, but you could play mini tournements with bots.. or whatever.

Zero seems to get my point across well. I'm not sure how complicated the program, programing or the likes would be tho.

Quite complicated. Knowing Jason, it can be said with near perfect certainty that this idea will never, ever happen.

I think it wouldn't work tbh. There's no drive to get anywhere, no aim.
