The Irish War of Independence was fought by the Irish Republican Army (IRA)
against the British soldiers who were trying to keep Ireland under British control.
The war was fought between 1919 and July 1921 when the fighting was stopped while a peace treaty was worked out.

It began because of the 1916 rising held in Dublin. The men who fought the British soldiers that day wanted Britain to move their army out of Ireland and for Ireland to be its own country.

These men were defeated and sixteen of the leaders were executed. This made Irish people angry.
Many Irish people turned against British rule. These people were called Republicans. Republicans lived all over Ireland, they set up the IRA (Irish Republican Army) to fight the British soldiers in Ireland.

Hello I\'m an Glas Fear, the Leader of my Irish ONLY alliance, to attach this new Domain on TGWs you need no requirements just to be Irish, so every Irishman/ woman may attach if they like.

Our policys are, we will protect the Homeland at all costs, any threat will be dealt with accordingly and all Non-Irish alliances will be counted as hostile.

Our Aims/ Goals, we will provide a home for all new and growing players while we fight for the flag.

NAPs/ DRAs, In Ireland thiers no such thing and the same line of thought shall apply to TGWs, we will mass all thoose that Farm and Snipe. Any force weaker will be a target and treaties will not be made, any larger force will be treated the same.

This is way over due, Irelands been without a Alliance for to long, we have been killing our brother\'s and fathers for what ?
It\'s time for the Ireland to revolutionise on TGWs and combine our forces and efforts and smite all thoose that oppose us.

So if you IRISH and would like to become a member of The Republic of Ireland just msg me back saying so, also make yourself available for invite.

But REMEMBER,

Ingame this is fine but elsewhere I cant say I`m a fan of never-ending feuds and vendettas and guerrilla wars.

Point in view = similarities between pointless civil war conflicts worldwide (whatever their objectives).

The settlement reached in Northern Ireland and should act as an imperfect Gold Standard and warring factions everywhere should realise that eventually peace will ensue.

Too much pain, too much suffering not enough thought and consideration for our fellow human beings, far far too many people killed in the name of religion.
